HypnoBirthing® – The Mongan Method

HypnoBirthing® – The Mongan Method

By marrying philosophy and technique, HypnoBirthing® – The Mongan Method teaches women how to reduce severe pain that is often accompanied by labor. The method centers on making fear and tension absent during the labor process to reduce pain.

HypnoBirthing® – The Mongan Method is not a new concept but rather a ‘rebirth’ of a philosophy that has been around for thousands of years. But it wasn’t until the 1920s, when British obstetrician Dr. Grantly Dick-Read reintroduced this method, that the concept of natural birthing was recaptured as an option for women giving birth.
