While wanting to soothe your new baby is instinctual, actually knowing how to do it is a learned skill. This class centers on pediatrician and author Dr. Harvey Karp’s step-by-step process that explains how even the fussiest of babies can be soothed to give new parents more peace and confidence.

In the Happiest Baby class, you will learn about the:
  • Missing fourth (4th) trimester
  • Calming reflex
  • Five S’s
  • Cuddle Cure

Expectant couples and parents with newborns 2-months and under will benefit from this hands-on class. Babies are welcomed and encouraged to attend. Classes include The Happiest Baby on the Block instructional DVD and soothing sounds CD (a $20 value).

Kerri Kristoff, CHBE

Kerri Kristoff has been teaching childbirth and infant care education since 2004 and has worked in the health care field since 1995. A favorite part of her job is helping parents have confidence in their ability to calm and soothe their newborn. A mother of two, Kerri and her family live in Chicago’s southwest suburbs.
